Facilities Assistant

Description:

The facilities assistant will assist the facilities staff with the day to day operations of McCourtney Hall, a
220,000 square foot facility that will include open laboratories and team spaces for Notre Dame Research. This position will work for shipping and receiving, but will also assist in the following areas: Activities and events, Nitrogen filling and delivery, events setup and mail sorting.

Qualifications:

Experience/Skills Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well with all levels of personnel. Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. Ability to work successfully in an environment with frequent interruptions. The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and an ability to quickly learn new concepts and independently solve problems. Strong computer skills a must. Minimal Physical Requirements: limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc., but none to the point of being disagreeable. At times, may require continuous lifting, bending or stooping. Ability to lift over 50 pounds.

Hours per week: 10

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 8:00am-2:00pm

Hourly Rate: $8.10
