Supervision​ ​of​ ​Front​ ​Desk​ ​Attendants​ ​&​ ​Fitness​ ​Room​ ​Attendants
Front​ ​Desk​ ​Operations

● Monitor and provide facility access to Smith Center for Recreational Sports for Notre Dame students, faculty, and staff and guests
● Serve as customer service central point in the facility to provide patrons with information regarding RecSports hours, events, programs, and facility access information; assist participants and facility users
regularly, on the phone and in person, and make referrals to appropriate areas as necessary
● Process registrations for a variety of RecSports programs including Intramural Sports, Club Sports,
Fitness Classes, and Family FuNDays
● Oversee the inventory of towels and equipment and provide patrons the opportunity to check out/in these items
● Perform all work in a cooperative and professional manner in accordance with department policies and procedures
● Assist and respond to all injuries and assist in immediate first aid and proper emergency procedures by following the appropriate Risk Management plan

Fitness​ ​Operations
● Ensure the cleanliness of the fitness floor and equipment; assist patrons as needed with equipment
● Rotate clean and dirty laundry
● Answer questions regarding the facility and/or fitness equipment
● Enforce policies to ensure safety 

Management​ ​of​ ​Facility​ ​Operations
● Knowledge of all RecSports hours, events, programs, and facility access information
● Complete required facility task list to ensure the facility and all processes are congruent with the mission and vision of RecSports
● Act as in-charge staff member during after hours to enforce departmental policies and supervise staff and manage the facility
● Perform hourly rotations of the facility looking for hazardous conditions
● First responder in all emergencies - document all incidents and accidents
● Perform all work in a cooperative and professional manner in accordance with department policies 
and procedures
● Oversee facility special events/rentals; enforce all facility and program policies
● Open and close the facility on a daily basis

Position Available: 5

Qualifications:

 ● Possess a current American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or ability to obtain one
within 30 days of employment

Hours per week: 12

Schedule:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Hourly Rate: $8.90
