Social Media Specialist

Description:

● Develop semesterly marketing plans that incorporate all RecSports social media platforms (Twitter,
Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat)
● Brainstorm campaigns in collaboration with RecSports student and professional staff members
● Establish monthly goals for each platform to improve engagement, reach, and following; construct and evaluate monthly analytical reports
● Consistently update all RecSports social media outlets with creative and engaging content
● Ideate content that embodies the department’s mission, vision, and values
● Utilize Hootsuite to schedule regular posts
● Adhere to the University of Notre Dame and RecSports branding and style guidelines
● Proof all content prior to posting

Qualifications:

    
● Must have ability to think creatively, employ innovative tools and techniques, and organize social media
campaigns
● Working knowledge and familiarity with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and
Snapchat
● Understanding of third party social media tools: Facebook Analytics, Hootsuite, and Twitter Analytics

Hours per week: 8

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Hourly Rate: $8.90
